This computer is exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a computer for a while before I found this. I was using the search for a touchscreen computer to take advantage of Windows 7's touchscreen capabilities, and I was very stubborn about it. I saw several different brands, like Toshiba and HP. From what I understand Toshiba laptop touchscreen are not very good. The screen is dark and features a touch screen, are not sensitive. HP TouchSmart was a bit 'expensive and too smallfor my taste. There are also a lot of touchscreen notebooks, which I find really unnecessary, because they are expensive and not the first portable. There are several aspects that I like about this Acer laptop apart the touchscreen, which is really amazing for the price. There are Dolby Home Theater surround sound, my word is amazing to take. I was watching the film on this compliments and the sound quality sweet video. Another thing is the 4 USB ports - I've seen a lot ofComputer and standard is 2 and max 3 Some people might think that there are not many, but I have an external hard drive, a wireless mouse, MP3 player, pop in a USB port and cooling portable, it must also make the radiator fan on USB . So quite honestly, the more the better. I too am picky bout the volume control, I can not explain how much I touch control buttons, the volume of tone, how to increase and decrease the volume, and work no more hate when your computer crashes. Iprefer a button that some Toshiba models are, but this is a volume control button that does not beep, that is satisfactory. Other things I can comment on the full keyboard is a plus, sensitive mouse pad with great features such as leaves and the other playing with the life of the battery. Finally, I used this laptop everyday is no joke, as I took them 3 weeks ago and its fantastic, durable - start fast, very fast, I did not used to its full potential, but I can say is Non --many applications on the computer.
